On November 13, 2013, the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce awarded Quarles the Goodwill Award to honor their community involvement. Quarles was nominated by Rappahannock United Way, and was presented with the award at the twelfth annual Goodwill Awards & Expo. The event was hosted by the Chamber and held at Rappahannock Goodwill Industries’ newly opened Community Center.

The Quarles organization and the associates were recognized for contributions and support of numerous community needs programs, including The United Way Campaign, Food Drive, Angel Tree Program and the Day of Caring. The 2013 Chamber Goodwill Awards recognized local companies for their extraordinary commitments to helping others and improving the local quality of life.

The Goodwill Awards recognize the involvement of the business community with non-profit agencies in our region. The award honors companies who strive to make the regions where it operates better for employees, customers, and all residents.
