And if you know the Quarles name, you know we're all about energy. We're a fuel oil distributor, propane supplier, service station supplier, and fleet fuel site provider. We provide a wide range of energy products for the home. We operate a chain of popular convenience stores.

It all started in 1939, when D.E. Quarles, Sr. began his career in the oil business. With his wife Gladys and their son D.E. Quarles, Jr., they operated one fuel truck in Warrenton, Virginia. Through a tradition of hard work and a desire to treat every customer like family, Quarles grew from that little company into a complete energy provider.

We recently reorganized to accommodate our growth, and to provide even better service to our customers. Now with more than 450 employees throughout Virginia and Maryland, we're big enough to meet all your energy needs. But we're still the friendly company that D.E. Quarles, Sr. founded more than 60 years ago.
